We are extremely pleased that Dr. Aleksandr (Sasha) Aravkin has accepted our offer to start as an Assistant Professor in Applied Mathematics, starting in Autumn 2015.
Sasha will join us through a joint initiative with the e-Science Institute, bringing his expertise in data science, optimization, statistics and many other fields to the campus, and applying them to a wealth of application areas.
We’re looking very much forward to Sasha’s arrival in the fall!
