Title: Inverse cascade of gravity waves in the presence of condensate: numerical simulation
Abstract: We consider primordial dynamical equations for surface waves dominated by the gravity (capillary effects are negligible). These equations are represented by system of integro-differential equations for elevation of the surface and velocity potential on the surface. Numerical simulation of turbulence in this system results in in formation of direct and inverse cascades of waves (these concepts will be introduced during the talk). Results will be compared with predictions from the Wave Turbulence theory and possible reasons explaining deviation of the numerical experiment from the theory will be discussed.
